1999 Harley-Davidson Electraglide Classic

other bikes: Only one bike, the Big Blue Hog. owner's life: Bill Hedrick 57 years oldFayetteville, NC bike info: I bought my 1999 Harley Davidson FLHTC from Cape Fear Harley-Davidson in Fayetteville, NC. I ride to work every day, all year long. Because it is a Tour Bike it has a fairing, I like riding behind it but I don't care much for looking at it. I've cut the windshield down so I can look over it in the rain and not be blinded by layers of raindrops. owner mods: Converted the bike to costs: My Harley isn't that costly to maintain. If you know what you are doing and how to work on them you can save money. If you have to worry about gas milage you're not having any fun. personal info: Hometown: Born in North Platte, NE; live in Fayetteville, NC ccupation: Computer TechnicianHobbies and other interests: Civil War Re-enactor Favorite books: Anything historical Favorite movies: Patton; The Outlaw Jose Wales; Tombstone Favorite music: Anything with Lynard Skynard Favorite foods: Mexican food What you'd do if you won a million dollars. Buy everyone I ride with on a regular basis, a Harley of their choice.(Personal information will make your submission more interesting, meaningful and fun to read. It will show everyone that regular people from all walks of life ride to work). I retired from the US Army after 20 years service. That was 19 years ago. I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 40 years but because of being in the Army and raising 2 kids I didn’t get my Harley until late in life. I’ve ridden my bike to Sturgis, Chicago, Washington DC, Pensacola, and even up on Little Round Top at the Gettysburg Battlefield. In my way of thinking, “You may have to grow old but you don’t have to grow up!” Ride safe and have fun. Seeing a sunrise on the back of a Harley is one of the most beautiful things you can witness.
