This is my new daily ride. I used to commute on a 2004 Honda 599. I ride to work daily, rain or shine, sub-freezing temps, hot and humid days, whatever...and I love every minute of it.

Nice looking bike . I owned a 2000 sm610 and loved it .Put some MHP cans on it .they sound great.

Great bike, I am really thinking hard about buying this bike and I was wandering what you thought of the bike overall. One thing that I would really like to know is how the bike does on the freeway/interstate? I have been looking for a write up on the bike but have came up empty handed. Thanks

It's a great value for the money. There are good deals out there so you end up paying slightly more for the Husky versus a DRZ400SM, but you get more displacement, Marzocchi forks, Sachs rear shock, Brembos front and rear, etc. It does fine on the interstate. I've done a couple 120+ mile rides, all interstate and it was happy running at a sustained 75mph. The biggest limiting factor is the saddle. But this thing is made to rip around the streets (dirt and gravel too) so getting to work and back is always fun. I'd buy another one.

sweet bike

i'm planning on buying a SM610 next spring, and i'm happy to hear that everyone loves the bike. I have a xr650l right now but i'd really like a supermoto with more power then the XR has. i'll definitely ride it everywhere, because i don't let a little weather stop me from riding.
