If you're adimant about keeping that ride, a little polishing compound compound could do wonders on those wheels & spokes!
He probably RIDES his motorcycle rather than polishing to impress the posers! Doesn't have to be shiny and new to be impressive!
Those roads are dirt! Try riding in dirt every day and see if you wanna keep cleaning and shining all the time. My hat is off for this gent and his beautiful lady.
Yeah, I second or third or whatever that not everyone wants a show bike. It isn't practical half the time for people who actually ride their bikes more than baby them.
It doesn't matter what you're on, how clean it is, what brand, how many cc's or whatever. If you're on a scooter, a Harley, Beamer, Honda or what not, you ALL get the thumbs up from me! If you don't give it back, that's YOUR problem!
I like riders that have something a little different.
Riding is riding. There are some people who would love to have that bike and restore it.

I figure my bike gets washed on rainy days -- who cares about shine when you can't see it from inside the helmet (and if you can, it's an annoying glare, not a pretty chromed bit). This guy clearly rides. He gets a thumbs up from me.
