I cut the sleeves out of a sweatshirt and soak it in water and wring out until very damp and put under my mesh jacket for my 25 mile commute home. Works like a champ! Drops the temp at least 20 deg.

Hi:
I have this cooling vest wich is the pro version of what you do with your sweatshirt, It works ok with a mesh jacket like Joe Rocket or simlar. The cooling accion last about 2 to 2.5 hours.
